Canker Sore Causes
No one knows what causes canker sores. The vast majority of
people who develop canker sores do not have another problem as
the cause. One thing is for sure, canker sores are not from the
herpes virus. Canker sores are not contagious.
The disease is suspected to result from a reaction of the
immune system. Additional causative factors may include the following:
stress, trauma, heredity, certain anti-inflammatory drugs and
certain beta-blockers, such as atenolol.
Oralvastin is a proven treatment used by patients who need
quick pain relief and quick heal. Oralvastin puts a protective
layer over the canker sore like a liquid band-aid preventing
the nerve endings from being exposed. Underneath, Oralvastin
goes to work killing the bacteria and helps to prevent the sore
from infections.
Oralvastin should be used twice a day. The area should be
dried with a cloth and a small amount of Oralvastin applied to
the canker sore. Hold for 15 seconds to allow Oralvastin to dry
on the sore. Do not swallow. Sore should start to heal in 48
hours and complete heal in 7 days. Use on patients 16 and older. |
